Design Advice Session

Not every project needs a full interior design service. Sometimes, all you need is a fresh perspective and an opinion you can trust.

Maybe you’ve been down a Pinterest rabbit hole and now everything feels like a blur. Maybe you’ve lost momentum halfway through, or you’re surrounded by samples wondering how it all fits together. With so many decisions to make — from layouts and colours to finishes and fittings — it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

This is the moment to stop guessing and start making confident choices.

My Design Advice Session offers a focused burst of professional guidance — perfect if you’re feeling stuck, need a second opinion, or just want some expert reassurance. Based in Southampton and working across Hampshire, I help homeowners make clear, confident design decisions without committing to a full interior design package.

Whether you’re just getting started, deep in the details, or need help pulling everything together, I’ll offer creative solutions, friendly support, and a clear plan of action. Together, we’ll turn uncertainty into excitement — so you can move forward with a space that feels just right.

This session is perfect if you:

  • Feel stuck or unsure how to start your project

  • Need help pulling ideas together into a cohesive plan

  • Want reassurance before making big purchases or layout changes

What I Can Help With

Every session is shaped around your questions, your project, and the areas you’re struggling with. Whether you’re unsure about finishes, need a second opinion, or just want professional reassurance before making design decisions, this is your chance to ask anything and get clarity on the next steps.

Choose one focus or mix a few. Typical topics include:

  • Room layouts and space planning: flow, zoning, and furniture placement

  • Colour palettes and paint choices:  undertones, finishes, and how light affects colour

  • Kitchen and bathroom plan reviews:  layout, storage, appliances, tiles, and finishes

  • Lighting plans:  layering light for atmosphere and functionality

  • Furniture sizing and placement:  proportions, scale, and arrangement

  • Window treatments:  curtains, blinds, tracks, and fabric selection

  • Storage solutions:  built-ins, wardrobes, alcoves, and utilities

  • Materials and finishes:  flooring, tiles, hardware, and worktops

  • Styling and accessories:  art, mirrors, rugs, and finishing touches

  • Sourcing guidance:  where to buy, what to avoid, and lead times

  • Budget and timelines:  phasing, priorities, and practical planning

  • Open-plan cohesion:  connecting kitchen, dining, and living zones

  • Small or awkward spaces: — making tight or unusual layouts work beautifully

Based in Southampton and working across Hampshire, I tailor each session to suit your home and goals.
