Dramatic hallway and kitchen

Dark and moody luxury ground floor

This kitchen, grand hallway, and utility room project was a full reconfiguration of two homes being knocked into one. The kitchen I had designed previously needed rehoming when the houses were combined. We were able to save most of it and also added some social areas with an island and a breakfast bar in-keeping with the style.

The entranceway was large and bright so we could get away with something dramatic, like moody blue to match the kitchen. We balanced the dark walls with the light staircase, crittall mirror and door, as well as lighting and the client’s artwork.

The utility room was designed clean and simple, with stacked tumble drier and washing machine (–one of my favourite space saving hacks) and made fun with another injection of colour.

The thing I love about Leisha is she encourages you to take risks and go with your ideas she’s also great at making suggestions and she gave me the confidence to be bold and I’m thrilled with the outcome... if it wasn’t for her I would have played it safe and not be as happy with the finale outcome. She is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her for an interior design job!
